Athlete Studio Portrait Photography FAQ
What should I wear?
Athletes should wear their typical game gear and uniform. Bring everything you'd wear in your game or practice, and don't forget to bring a ball if you play a ball sport!
Even your water bottle or ankle tape can help us create unique photos. Additional clothing such as a varsity jacket or a practice jersey also work as great sports photography props.
When and where do we shoot?
This 2026 Athlete Portrait Session takes place in a studio in Downtown Tampa. You'll receive address and other important details upon booking. Available only on the following dates this Spring/Summer 2026:
- Sunday, April 26th
- Monday, April 27th
Request available timeslots for your athlete portrait photoshoot. Spaces are extremely limited and are reserved upon payment.
Commercial licensing?
Personal usage is standard. Brand/commercial licensing available on request for a standard fee.
Do you offer prints?
Yes, I can customize a variety of print packages for you, including fine art archival prints, large canvas and acrylic prints, books and more.
Can I bring a friend to my shoot?
For athletes under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian should be present during the entire photoshoot session.
For athletes 18 and over, it's up to you if you bring a friend or family member. I highly suggest 1-on-1 sessions to avoid distractions from the creative process. If you choose to bring a friend or family member and they distract or interfere with our session, you may forfeit your photo session timeslot and I may be unable to deliver your photos; in this event refunds are not provided, but you may purchase a new session timeslot if one is available.
I'm not able to accommodate adding unplanned people (or pets) into your shoot.
